Whether you're new to this interesting subject, or whether your understanding is large but piecemeal, this short book will be a solid, readable guide. It will encourage you to explore further the delightful pastime that is wine. Patricia Avla takes us from the ancient traditions of winemaking, to modern bottling and storing. We learn the different ways of processing the grape, and the array of wines that results, those known to us all – the Cabernets and the Chardonnays – and those we might be encouraged to try – the Nortons and the Muscadines. That wine contributes to health is well-known; here we have the benefits in detail. The author concludes with a series of writers' tributes to wine – and then her own tips as to remedies for over-indulgence!

When youre able to read only half way through a book and feel like you’ve learned a LOT, then you’ve picked a winner in my book. I was very ecstatic when reading each page and learning more and more as the book progressed. I don’t feel that anything at all was left untouched. It lives up to the title.

Stupendous!

Education on wine at it’s finest! I found the content to be most informative and expertly composed. It is an asset to any book shelf of a wine drinker.

I wouldnt say that I am a wine guru after reading this book, but I did learn a whole lot more than I knew before it was filled with stuff i wasnt aware of and helped so that i dont look as ignorant at gettogethers with friends. my wifes law firm tends to have alot of people who are obviously knowledgable on wine and this time around i wont feel like the 3rd wheel!

I never thought I’d be an expert!

Yes, 60 minutes, you can be a Wine Expert and I am proof!

I knew I enjoyed wine and our family has been raised around wine all our lives but a knowledge outside of “red,” “white” “expensive,” “cheap,” and “Merlot is nice, boxed wine isn’t” is about the extent of our knowledge.

Patricia Avla taught us a lot about wine and I thought enough of this book that I wanted to share it with you. She not only scratches the surface which is all I thought I wanted, but she takes you far deeper and makes wine a new experience. For example, she explains the various kinds of wines and where they come from. She explores the health benefits of wine which OPENED OUR EYES as we didn’t realize how healthy wine can be. But what I got the most out of is the information about how to taste wine to enjoy it to the fullest, how to test various wines, and how to enjoy the wine EXPERIENCE. (If you ever watched Frasier, you know how snobs some people can be about wine, right? It turns out, WE can know as much as they! :) )

To enjoy wine and get the most out of its experience, get Wine – 60 Minute Expert. It will add to the quality of your enjoyment.

This is a very useful eBook. Great idea. You can download it and have it available if you need it. Very informative. I never know which wine would go good or if out with executives, which one is proper, so this will be a life saver!

It really is pretty easy to learn about wine with this book. There isn’t any “funny business” and it fills you in quick. If you have an upcoming tasting, party, or seminar coming up on wine, this is a great choice. I would like to add however that it did take me quite longer than 60 minutes to finish though. But I’m sure fast readers will breeze through and regardless, you will learn something in the 60 minutes you do read!

I’m by far “sophisticated”, but I do love a glass of wine now and then. This book was great on tips to bring out flavors, compare tastes, and learn a little more about what exactly it was that I’m drinking. Nicely done….good end of summer read.
