What do I give to a girl I don’t really know for her birthday?
My good friend is throwing a suprise birthday party for his fiancee. He sent out invites, which means that he is expecting a gift, or so I would imagine. We are aquaintences (she and I ) and only hangout when the group of us get together. She is turning 30. What is a good gift to give? I am thinking a bottle of wine? Any other suggestions?
I think a bottle of wine or other beverage (Bailey’s would be my choice) is a great idea. They aren’t necessarily expecting Gifts, so if you show up with a bottle of wine then it could be used as a gift or just a nice jester for the hosts. So I also wouldn’t wrap it – just use a bag and have a card handy, but not attached.
