Can a subcontracted musician have a glass of wine before, during or after work in a NH resort hotel?
I am a pianist who’s worked at a resort hotel in Whitefield, NH for 4 1/2 mths. I have purchased wine occasionally during the course of my working evening or a guest has bought me a drink. Last night a friend tried to buy me a glass of wine & I was told I could not have it before, during or after work on the premises as this was State law. I was told this by a new manager at the hotel. Other mgrs. at this same hotel have allowed it and never even made mention of it. None of the bartenders nor the concierge ever heard of such a law. IS this a State law in New Hampshire?
