Wine Making Made Easy

Wine Making Airlock

Wine Making Airlock
When should my wine airlock start bubbling?

I just started to brew my first apple wine today. I started out by making 5 gallons and put it in the container to start fermenting. It’s been sitting for roughly an hour or so but i have not seen any bubbles coming out of the airlock. My question is whether I had possibly messed up a step or if just takes a while for the first bubbles to start. So my question is when should I start seeing the bubbles?

Not totally familiar with apple wine fermentation but my beer brews take approx. 6 to 12 hours to get bubbling. That is with a commercial yeast strain. Wild yeast strains can be more random etc.
