Where can i get Spirits / Wine / Beer at wholesale price in New York City ?
As part of a fund raiser event (music concert) for a non profit we need to purchase Spirits / Wine / Beer …I am looking for the cheapest price since we want to raise as much funds as possible..Any leads will be really appreciated..
In all of new york state sales and purchases of spirits and wine are stictly controlled by the ABC board. It is illegal for a wholesaler to sell to anyone other than a licensed on or off premise retailer. It is also illegal for any retailer to sell alcohol to anyone at any price other than the marked or posted price. In other words if a bottle of Bacardi is priced at 13.99 on the shelf it is illegal for the store owner to give it to you at a discount. My only suggestion is to shop around for the store with the best prices or take a trip to another state.
